[ET Net News Agency, 28 April 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$169.03
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$27.15 billion, or 16.06% of the market's
turnover. There were 708 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF (02828)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.81 billion and HK$2.76 billion, or
10.34% and 10.17% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 30.51% and 45.05% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and BYD COMPANY (01211) registered HK$2.51 billion and HK$2.11
billion of short sales, accounting for 9.26% and 7.77% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 41.93% and 39.32% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed flat, to HK$22.32. HSCEI ETF ended down HK$0.04, or 0.05%, to
HK$82.82. CSOP HS TECH rose HK$0.006, or 0.12% to HK$4.892. BYD COMPANY declined by
HK$15.8, or 3.98%, to HK$381.2.
