[ET Net News Agency, 13 June 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$294.29
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$49.22 billion, or 16.73% of the market's
turnover. There were 713 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and HSCEI ETF (02828)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$7.12 billion and HK$5.78 billion, or
14.46% and 11.75% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 69.21% and 39.89% of respective stock's turnover.
BYD COMPANY (01211) and BEKE-W (02423) registered HK$2.81 billion and HK$2.67 billion of
short sales, accounting for 5.72% and 5.43% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 42.51% and 64.99% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed down HK$0.095, or 1.81%, to HK$5.15. HSCEI ETF ended down HK$0.92,
or 1.02%, to HK$89.36. BYD COMPANY fell HK$3.3, or 2.46% to HK$131.1. BEKE-W jumped
HK$0.55, or 1.09%, to HK$50.9.
